The beautiful-if-exiled Queen Daenerys Targaryen in ‘Game of Thrones,’ was born in London, and began acting at the age of three after seeing the musical ‘Show Boat,’ which her father was a sound engineer for. She studied at the Drama Center of London, and graduated in 2009.
Whether or not you are a fantasy geek, Emilia’s role on ‘Game of Thrones’ is enough to convert you, if only for her lack of clothing and long blonde locks. We may not have read the books, but we definitely watch the show.
What’s next for Emilia? She will be starring in the Broadway production of Truman Capote’s ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s,’ playing the charming and mysterious call girl, Holly Golightly. The show opens this month, but good luck getting tickets for the next three years (we’ve bought them all).
