Known on stage as ‘Bat for Lashes,’ Natasha is a 33-year-old British singer-songwriter, who has risen to be one of the most unique and innovative voices in indie pop right now. Plus, in her new video she dances with puppets while wearing a bikini, and we support that.
Natasha’s first album, ‘Fur and Gold’ was released in 2006, and quickly garnered attention. She’s released two more since, the latest being her 2012 album ‘The Haunted Man.’
‘Bat For Lashes’ has a weird and dreamy sound; it’s perfect headphones soundtrack for winter days. Natasha is half English and half Pakistani, and always looks like she’s having an awesome time.
